Painting has always been part of my life!

I grew up in a large family and I’m the youngest of four siblings. My childhood was shaped by a very different kind of upbringing. By choice, my parents decided not to have a television at home. We grew up without screens or constant outside distractions, and that made all the difference. that space, creativity found room to grow.
Even without many material resources, we learned early on how to imagine, create, and explore. Art and music became a natural part of my childhood and teenage years. I painted with watercolors, drew portraits using graphite pencils, experimented with musical instruments, and allowed myself to try, fail, and reinvent. Creating was part of everyday life — not a responsibility, but a form of freedom.

Those experiences shaped who I am today. When I reached adulthood, I already knew, in some way, that art was more than a hobby, it was a possible path. Of course, turning art into a profession is never easy. It requires courage, consistency, and deep commitment. But today, I continue to walk this path, living from my art and building my identity as an artist, one project at a time.

I carry references that come from my roots. Tropical elements, color, nature, and Brazilian influences naturally appear in my work, because they are part of who I am. At the same time, I enjoy exploring different styles, languages, and approaches, allowing each project to find its own voice.

This text is a record of where it all began — of the artist I was as a child, the curious teenager I became, and the woman who continues to create with intention. In future posts, I’ll share how this journey led me to mural art and to the walls that eventually became my canvases.
